AS A SENIOR (2016): Was brilliant for the Irish on the mound during fourth year with the program … led team with an 8-2 record in 14 appearances (13 starts) … tossed two complete games, was part of two shutouts and struck out 42 batters over 80.1 innings of work … finished second on squad with a 2.13 ERA … batters hit .223 against him overall and batted .169 (14-83) with two outs … posted seven quality starts and team went 11-2 when he started on the mound … began the year 6-0 … went 2-1 with a 1.77 ERA over three starts in ACC play … struck out 11 batters to three walks and held opponents to a .222 batting average … in conference play, batters hit only .191 (9-47) with the bases empty and .190 (4-21) with two outs … outstanding work in non-conference featured a 6-1 record, 2.25 ERA and 60.0 innings pitched over 11 appearances (10 starts) … sensational in road contests … went 2-0 with a 0.43 ERA while holding opponents to a .194 batting average over 21.0 innings on the mound … posted a 0.00 ERA in five innings in relief on the year … earned victories over three ranked squads (No. 17 Michigan, No. 21 Michigan State & No. 20 North Carolina) … from April 5 to May 14, went 6-1 with a 0.94 ERA over 47.2 innings of work … didn’t allow a run in three starts out of four from April 19 to May 8 … named ACC Pitcher of the Week April 25, 2016 after hurling a complete-game shutout at No. 21 Michigan State (1-0 win April 19) … needed just 91 pitches and 1:58 to record five 1-2-3 frames and finish off five innings in 10 pitches or less … scattered seven hits and didn’t walk a batter while striking out two in the outing … the complete game was his second in a row after shutting down Valparaiso (April 13) the week before … in that appearance allowed just one run and four hits (no walks) while striking out five to improve to 4-0 on the year … became first Irish pitcher since 2009 to post back-to-back complete games … returned to the field 11 months to the day after Tommy John surgery on left elbow and pitched a gem in relief at Santa Clara (February 20) … allowed just three hits (no walks) over five shutout innings against the Broncos … struck out seven batters against Toledo (March 16) and Pittsburgh (May 8) … named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll … participated in the Rosenthal Leadership Academy … earned a monogram.

JUNIOR SEASON (2015): Earned a pair of starts to open the year before undergoing successful Tommy John surgery on left elbow (March 20) to end 2015 campaign ... picked up the no-decision on opening day against SIU-Edwardsville ... left game in line for win after going 5.1 innings and giving up three runs (2 ER) on three hits and a walk ... tied career high with five strikeouts ... earned quality start and win against Incarnate Word (Feb. 19), going six innings and allowing one run on six hits and three walks … participated in the Rosenthal Leadership Academy … named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll … earned a monogram.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014): Opened year coming out of the bullpen, but quickly established himself as weekend starter with consistency and accuracy on the mound … made 19 appearances on the year including nine starts … had one complete game, one shut out, a 5-6 record and a 2.51 ERA in a team-high 86.0 innings of work … ERA was 13th best in ACC … tied for the team high in strikeouts with 48, while walking just 13 … also only had one wild pitch and four hit batters … held opponents to a .248 batting average … made first appearance in the final game against No. 24 Florida Atlantic (Feb. 16), pitching two innings out of the bullpen and striking out two batters … had breakout performance in long relief against Youngstown State (March 1) … set then-career highs in innings pitched (7.1), strikeouts (5) and batters faced (23), while earning first career victory, in a gem of a relief appearance against the Penguins ... entered in the second inning with no outs and the bases loaded and got out of jam by striking out one batter and inducing a double play from another ... he didn’t allow a run and gave up only one hit in 7.1 innings of work ... hurled first complete game of career in a 7-0 win over Boston College (April 12) ... allowed seven hits in 107 pitches ... didn’t walk a batter and struck out five ... broke career high in innings pitched (9.0) ... also tied career highs in strikeouts (5) and batters faced (34) ... earned third victory of season at No. 11 Miami (April 20) as he pitched five shutout frames to give Irish their first ACC road win in program history and snap Miami’s nation-leading 14-game winning streak ... had about 20 minutes to warm up in emergency start against Northeastern (April 25) and came within one out of second complete game of the year ... gave up four runs but managed game nicely as he didn’t have a walk, wild pitch, hit batter or balk for the fourth consecutive appearance to pick up fourth win of season … threw eight shutout innings, allowing three hits and striking out three in final start of the season vs. Pittsburgh (May 16) to claim fifth victory … earned a monogram.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2013): Saw action in five games during first season out of the Irish bullpen ... made Notre Dame debut in relief at Pittsburgh (April 12) ... tossed a scoreless 0.1 of an inning in first home appearance against Eastern Michigan (May 1) ... spun three perfect innings of shutout baseball with no walks and four strikeouts at Western Michigan (May 14).
