    FRESHMAN SEASON (2014): Made 11 appearances on the mound for the Irish (two starts) … hurled 19.1 innings, allowed 27 hits, 13 runs and 12 walks while striking out 13 batters … posted a 4.19 ERA … showed much improvement as season went along … did not allow a run in final four appearances … totaled a team-worst 15.43 ERA in 4.2 innings of work over first five outings before producing a minuscule 0.61 ERA in 14.2 innings over last six appearances … held batters to a .218 average over that stretch … made first appearance of career in game two at No. 24 Florida Atlantic (Feb 15) … earned first career start versus Youngstown State (March 1), allowing four runs on three hits in an inning of work … threw 4.1 innings in relief at No. 1 Florida State (April 6) allowed just one run on three hits while striking out four batters … had strong outing to close the year, going 4.0 innings against Pittsburgh (May 17) and allowing no runs on six hits while striking out a pair of batters … named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll … earned a monogram.
