AS A SOPHOMORE: Made 11 appearances with two starts, posting 4.61 ERA and 1-0 record with one save (22 Ks, 21 BB, 27 H, 27.1 IP, 2 WP, 4 HB) ... proved to be staff's toughest pitcher versus leadoff batters, allowing just 22.2 percent to reach base ... also ranked fifth-best on staff with .230 batting by opposing righthanded hitters (.252 overall) ... logged four solid innings in 8-3 win over Toledo (4 H, R, 3 BB, 4 Ks) ... posted win over Valparaiso (5 IP, 4 H, R, 2 BB, 6 Ks; 13-4) and save vs. Cleveland State (3 IP, 2 H, BB, 4 Ks; 13-1) ... tossed three innings at Virginia Tech (3 H, R, BB, K; 5-11).

AS A FRESHMAN: Posted 3.79 ERA and 5-1 record in 12 appearances (5 starts) ... totaled 33 Ks, 17 walks in 35.2 IP, with 33 hits allowed (.236 opp. batting, third-best on staff; also 5 WP, 8 HB) ... second on staff with 8.33 Ks per 9 IP, allowing just 8.33 hits per 9 IP (fourth-best) ... led staff by allowing just .100 opp. 2-out batting, second in batting with runners on (.214) ... logged 3.2 strong innings vs. Sacred Heart (3 H, BB, 5 Ks; 4-1) ... picked up 15-8 relief win in rally past USC (3.2 IP, 3 H, 3 BB, 3 Ks) ... had similar win in 10-6, 10-inning comeback at West Virginia (3 IP, 2 H, BB, 3 Ks) ... had seven Ks to win first start, in planned rotation vs. Valparaiso (4 IP, 2 H, BB; 16-0) ... had 6.0 IP in each of final two starts, with wins vs. Chicago State (4 H, 1 ER, BB, 6 Ks; 16-7) and Rochester College (3 H, UER, 2 BB, 2 Ks).
