JUNIOR SEASON (2009): Walk-on addition in outfield who earlier attempted to walk on to the Notre Dame football team, as a freshman wideout in the fall of 2006 ... good all-around athlete, with speed, a strong throwing arm and improved hitting skills ... started all three games for the victorious Blue in the Blue-Gold World Series ... batted .200 (2-for-10) with a double, run scored and two RBI.
