Basketball.

Best thing about the team:
The best thing is definitely having awesome teammates who become some really good friends.

What are three words that best describe coach Schrage?
Focused, intense, professional.

Which professional player would you compare yourself to?
Richie Sexson.

What is your favorite major league ballpark?
It's a tie between Fenway Park and Wrigley Field.

What would be the title of your autobiography?
"Trust the Plan".

What is your favorite/most memorable sports moment?
It has to be hitting a two run home run against our biggest rivals as a senior in high school in the bottom half of the last inning to send us into extra innings. We eventually won the game. It was a fun win.

Are you a fan of the American League's designated hitter or do you prefer the National League style?
I'm definitely a fan of the designated hitter.

Should college baseball switch to wooden bats?
Yes, all levels of baseball should be played with wood.

Who is the best hitter and pitcher in major league baseball?
Alex Rodriguez and Johan Santana.

Favorite baseball team:
Chicago Cubs.

Favorite player:
Derrek Lee.

Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions?
Not really. I just do whatever has been working recently. For instance, if I go 3 for 4 in a couple games, I'm going to try and repeat everything I did before those last few games.

Why did you choose Notre Dame?
Notre Dame was always a school I liked. But I think what really sealed the deal for me was all the tradition and school spirit as well as the opportunity to play big time division I baseball.
