Notre Dame Baseball Adds Game Against Manchester College

Notre Dame baseball has added a game to its schedule for the upcoming week. The Irish will play Manchester College on Wednesday night at 6:05 p.m.

Notre Dame and Manchester last faced off on April 12, 2006, in the 14th game of the Irish's historic 23-game winning streak. The Irish won the game, 8-2, behind seven shutout innings from starter David Phelps. Craig Cooper and Mike Dury homered for Notre Dame.

Manchester has a 13-11 record this season, including a 6-3 mark in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Manchester boasts an impressive 3.97 team ERA and will play a doubleheader at Franklin College this afternoon.
