2008 BIG EAST Tournament Notes

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Notre Dame opens the 2008 BIG EAST Tournament with the same team they closed the regular season, USF. The No. 6 seeded Bulls swept the No. 3 seeded Irish in three games all decided by a single run last weekend in Tampa. First pitch is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. at Bright House Networks Field in Clearwater, Fla. The winner of the Notre Dame-USF game will face the winner of the No. 2 seed Cincinnati and No. 7 seed West Virginia matchup. Each and every Notre Dame game of the tournament will be broadcast live on ESPN Radio 1490 and UND.com.
