NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The 64-team field for the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship will be
announced on Monday, May 22, at 2:00 p.m. central (EST).
The field and pairings will be aired live on ESPN during a 30-minute "Road
to Omaha" selection show and also can be monitored via the NCAA website
(ncaa.org), with a special section of the site dedicated to the baseball
tournament at www.ncaabaseball.com.
The field will include 29 automatic qualifiers and 35 at-large teams. Notre
Dame (43-16) is looking to make its 15th all-time appearance in the NCAAs
and sixth in the last nine seasons.
