NOTRE DAME BASEBALL GAMEDAY NOTES - vs. North Carolina (NCAA Gainesville Regional; June 6, 2005)
REMATCH - Notre Dame and North Carolina will meet in an NCAA Regional rematch on Sunday, June 6, at 2:00 p.m. EDT (at Florida's McKethan Stadium) ... UNC beat ND 5-1 in to open the Regional ... the winner will advance to a game Sunday vs. host Florida (6:00 p.m.) and must win that game to force a decisive game on Monday (7:00) in the double-elimination format ... all games are being broadcast live by CSTV (South Bend's WHME will show a delayed telecast Sunday night at 11:00 p.m. EST, plans for Monday are TBA) ... Sunday's early game is slated to include a pair of sophomore RHPs on the mound (ND's Dan Kapala and UNC's Daniel Bard).
