Haunted Eck will return to the University of Notre Dame’s Frank Eck Stadium on Friday, Oct. 28. The home of Irish baseball will be transformed into a frightful yet delightful Halloween spectacular.
The evening begins with an Irish baseball fall scrimmage at 4:30 p.m. Following the action on the diamond, players and coaches will hand out candy and sign autographs while leading tours of the spooky and moderately fright-filled Frank Eck Stadium. The indoor hitting cages, clubhouse, concourse and coaches’ locker room will all be Halloween themed, with some areas putting a haunting twist on traditional baseball drills.
The event is free-of-charge, but the program will be collecting donations to benefit the fight against pediatric cancer.
The weekend will be the final set of scrimmages before fall ball concludes with the annual Blue/Gold World Series Friday-Sunday, November 5-7, at Frank Eck Stadium.
