    Irish Top Youngstown State, 69-48

    NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The Notre Dame men's basketball team upped its record to 2-0 by beating Youngstown State, 69-48 on Tuesday night. The Irish beat Monmouth two days earlier.

    Forward Pat Garrity led all scorers with 20 points, while Matt Cotsch added nine rebounds for Notre Dame. The Irish held Youngstown State to 35 percent shooting from the floor.

    Marcus Culbreth led Youngstown State with 14 points.

    The Irish host Indiana on Dec. 2.
