Garrity Leads Notre Dame Past Loyola
NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Pat Garrity poured in a game-high 27 points as Notre
Dame raced to a 92-75 victory over Loyola (Md.) today at the Joyce
Center.
Garrity was 4-for-6 from three point range in leading the Irish to the
victory. The junior forward also pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds.
Senior guard Admore White added 13 points and 10 assists for the Irish,
while junior forward Derek Manner also finished with 13 points.
Notre Dame took command of the game in the first half, jumping out to a
43-27 halftime lead. The Irish wound up shooting 57 percent from the
field, including a sizzling 11-for-16 from three-point range, to defeat
Loyola.
Notre Dame, which improved to 4-3 with the win, returns to the court
Monday night when it hosts Nicholls State at 7:30 p.m.
