Notre Dame Loses On The Road To Georgetown
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Victor Page scored a game-high 27 points as
Georgetown sailed to a 70-57 victory over Notre Dame this evening.
Boubacar Aw added 12 points and eight rebounds, while Cheikh Ya-Ya Dia
chipped in with 10 points and a game-high 14 rebounds for the Hoyas.
Matt Gotsch paced Notre Dame (7-5) with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Pat Garrity
added 13 points, while Derek Manner chipped in with 11 points and eight
rebounds.
Georgetown took a 38-33 lead into halftime in racing to the 13-point win.
Notre Dame returns to action next Thursday when it hosts Villanova in a
Big East showdown at the Joyce Center.
