    SOPHOMORE SEASON (2008-09): Played in 20 games in first season on the floor ... averaged 2.5 points per game and 1.2 rebounds per contest ... scored a season-high seven points against South Dakota, in addition to grabbing three rebounds ... matched season bests in both scoring and rebounds against UCLA with seven points and four rebounds ... scored four points and grabbed a season-high four rebounds in win over Furman while playing a season-high 18 minutes ... played six minutes in first collegiate contest against USC Upstate while scoring six points, grabbing two rebounds and dishing off two assists ... also had six points in back-to-back games against Delaware State and Savannah State ... netted four points and grabbed two boards versus Cincinnati ... dished off two assists in the South Dakota and Delaware State games ... scored three points and grabbed one rebound against Penn State in the semifinals of the National Invitation Tournament.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Finished his high school career at James Madison High School for coach John Valenzuela ... led high school to its first-ever Texas state finals appearance and a 36-5 record as a senior while netting 16.7 points, pulling down 8.5 rebounds, and recording 4.6 blocks per game ... averaged 18.0 points and 10.0 rebounds before transferring to Madison midway through his sophomore campaign ... averaged 17.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in five games as a junior before a season-ending injury ... also played for the T-MAC All-Stars, Houston Jr. Hardballers and Texas Ambassadors AAU teams ... averaged 13 points and eight rebounds for the T-MAC All-Stars in his final summer, helping that squad win its second consecutive Texas Classic championship.
