JUNIOR SEASON (2015-16): Played perhaps his finest game in an Irish uniform in his final game at Notre Dame, scoring 26 points on 10-16 shooting with four assists vs. eventual national-runner up North Carolina ... dominated the final 20 seconds of Notre Dame's victory over Wisconsin to push the Irish to their second straight NCAA Elite Eight, scoring a lay up with :19 remaining, stealing a pass and scoring another lay up with :13 remaining, then stealing the ball at midcourt on Wisconsin's final possession (with :03 left), getting fouled and hitting two free throw shots to seal the game ... finished 5-11 from the field with 14 points, two assists and two steals in the second half vs. Wisconsin ... named to the NCAA East Regional All-Tournament team, scoring 17.8 ppg with 3.5 apg in four tourney games ... stepped up with 12 of his team-high 18 points in the second half of the victory NCAA second round victory over Stephen F. (470 points) ... also averaged 3.6 rpg. (137 rebounds) ... ranked second on team with 3.1 aspg. (116 assists) and 1.6 spg. (59 steals) per contest ... shot 50.8 percent (167-329) from the field and 42.9 percent (54-126) from three-point range ... third-leading scorer for the Irish in ACC play as he averaged 11.3 ppg. FRESHMAN SEASON (2013-14): Played in 30 of Notre Dame's 32 contests during his rookie season and made 15 starts ... averaged 6.0 ppg. (181 points), 2.1 rpg. (58 rebounds) and 1.8 aspg. (55 assists) ... played 666 minutes ... shot 42 percent (55-131) from the field and 41.7 percent (25-60) from three-point range ... netted double figures in seven contests ... his first double-figure scoring effort of the season came in Notre Dame's win at home against Santa Clara as he finished with 13 points (connected on 3-4 shots from the field) and a career-high eight rebounds ... that contest began a three-game stretch in which he scored in double figures ... following the game against Santa Clara, he finished with 11 points in back-to-back games versus Army and Cornell ... earned his first career start against Cornell and then started Notre Dame's next 14 games ... his final start of the season was in a loss at Wake Forest ... against Cornell, enjoyed one of his best shooting performances along the perimeter as he connected on three of his four three-point attempts ... played 30-plus minutes in four contests ... scored nine points and played 33 minutes in 98-93 loss at Iowa ... reached double figures for the fourth time during the season when he finished with 11 points in 23 minutes in loss at home to North Dakota State ... played a career-high 34 minutes in loss to Ohio State ... scored five points and grabbed three rebounds against the Buckeyes at Madison Square Garden ... netted eight points and hauled in four rebounds in Notre Dame 79-77 win over Duke in its Atlantic Coast Conference opener ... played 22 minutes in Irish victory at home against Virginia Tech, a contest in which he scored 13 points ... registered his sixth double-figure scoring effort of the season against Virginia in home loss when he scored 10 points to lead the Irish in scoring ... did not play in Notre Dame's home game against Clemson or at Boston College ... returned following missing those two games by scoring a career-high 17 points and dishing off a personal-best five assists in loss at Miami ... connected on 7-13 shots from the field against Hurricanes and was 3-5 from three-point range ... scored five points and dished off four assists in loss at Virginia ... also netted five points in overtime loss versus Pittsburgh ... finished the season by scoring six points in first-round loss to Wake Forest in the ACC tournament.
HIGH SCHOOL: Concluded his prep career as the all-time leading scorer in St. Joseph County and at Marian High School in Mishawaka, Indiana with 1,934 career points ... broke the high school scoring record that stood for nearly 25 years ... played in the 2013 McDonald's All-Star Game at the United Center in Chicago ... Notre Dame's 16th McDonald's All-American and the fifth under head coach Mike Brey ... played for the East squad ... first McDonald's All-American from Northern Indiana since Shawn Kemp of Elkhart in 1988 ... starred at Marian under head coach Robb Berger ... in his final scholastic season, averaged 25.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.6 steals ... finished runner-up in Indiana Mr. Basketball voting to Zak Irvin (Hamilton Southeastern) as a senior ... represented United States in the Under-19 Nike Hoops Summit in Portland, Oregon in April 2013 ... three-time Northern Indiana Conference (NIC) MVP honoree ... first-team all-state selection as a senior ... named to the Indiana Boys Coaches Association (IBCA) Senior All-Star Team along with current teammate V.J.
