proven to be most comfortable playing on the wing...displays
tremendous defensive intensity when he is on the floor...a backup to
Chris Thomas at point guard, he has shown to be most comfortable
playing on the perimeter...has fully recovered from the arthroscopic
surgery which sidelined him throughout the 2000-01 campaign...has
worked hard to improve his physical strength over the past

AS A SOPHOMORE: Recovered from arthroscopic surgery before the start
of the 2000-01 and played in 18 games off the bench, averaging 5.3
minutes...played in first collegiate game vs. New Hampshire after
missing all of freshman campaign due to knee injury...scored two
points vs. New Hampshire, Tennessee-Chattanooga and Monmouth...dished
out career-high five assists vs. Hawks in career-high 14
minutes...played eight minutes against Canisius and saw action in the
Alabama contest...played a key role in six minutes of action in the
first half of West Virginia game on the road as the Irish overcame an
18-point deficit in comeback victory...saw action in BIG EAST
quarterfinal game against St. John's and in NCAA first-round matchup
versus Charlotte.
AS A FRESHMAN: Missed the entire 2000-01 campaign after undergoing
arthroscopic knee surgery on Sept. 29...went through rehabilitation
for 12 weeks and began practicing with the team in mid-January.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Played for head coach Tony DiBiase at
South Portland High School...Gatorade Maine Player of the Year...one
of 17 Maine athletes to be nominated for McDonald's All-American
honors...averaged 16.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists in
1999-2000...named Maine's Mr. Basketball following the 1999-2000
campaign...earned first-team all-state honors following his junior
season in which he averaged 21.5 points, 6.3 assists and 4.9
