SOPHOMORE SEASON AT NOTRE DAME (2008-09):
Transferred to Notre Dame in June 2008 after playing one season at Purdue ... will sit
out entire 2008-09 campaign due to NCAA transfer regulations.
FRESHMAN SEASON AT PURDUE (2007-08):
Played in 32 of Purdue's 34 games and made eight starts on Boilermaker team that finished
with a final 25-9 record and 15-3 mark in Big Ten play en route to second-place finish
in final regular-season standings and second-round appearance in the NCAA
Tournament ... fourth-leading scorer on the team as he averaged 8.5 points, 3.8 rebounds
and 1.4 assists during rookie season while averaging 21.9 minutes ... netted double figures
in 13 games ... reached double figures for the first time in his career in the second game
of the season against Lipscomb as he tallied 16 points by hitting 6-12 shots from the field
... it marked the first of five straight games in double figures ... followed that up with a
15-point performance against Loyola-Chicago ... tallied 13 points versus Clemson, hitting
6-11 shots ... netted 10 points and 14 points against Indiana State and Ball State in next
two contests ... played a career-high 33 minutes vs. the Sycamores ... scored a career-high
17 points versus Missouri State while playing a 32 minutes ... had back-to-back 11-point
outings against Louisville and Texas Southern ... scored in double figures in seven of first
nine career games ... scored nine points and grabbed eight rebounds in collegiate debut
against Bethune-Cookman ...tallied 13 points against Florida International and also
reached double figures against Iowa as he finished with 11 points ... missed two games in
February against Wisconsin and Michigan State with a sprained ankle ... scored 12 points
in win at Indiana ... scored 10 points and grabbed a career-high nine boards in win against
Northwestern ... scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds in win at Ohio State ...
grabbed five or more rebounds in 10 games ... recorded eight points and three steals in the
team's win over Michigan in Big Ten Championship .. played in both of Purdue's two
NCAA games ... scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds against Baylor in firstround
NCAA tournament win and finished with six points and six rebounds in loss to
Xavier played 20-plus minutes in 22 contests ... finished seventh on all-time freshman list
for most three-point field goals in a season (24), as well as 10 in highest free-throw percentage
(.701) and eighth most steals (30).
HIGH SCHOOL:
Averaged 22.2 points, 9.1rebounds and 3.0 assists per game in his senior year under head
coach Bob Punter at Valparaiso High School ... earned 2007 Indiana Associated Press,
Indiana Basketball Coaches Association and Hoosier Magazine first-team all-state accolades
... named MVP and recorded the scoring record at The Times 2007 Region Round Ball
Rumble ... as a junior averaged 20.3 points per game and shot better than 61 percent from
the field ... tabbed as The Times Player of the Year in 2006 for his performance ... named
Duneland Conference MVP in 2006 and earned co-MVP in 2007... selected as a twotime
underclassmen all-state, as well as two-time all-area first team, according to The Times
and Post-Tribune...named as team MVP twice in his playing career with
Valparaiso...played under head coach Bob Punter.
