Luke Harangody led the Notre Dame Men's basketball team past Cincinnati, 83-65, on Thursday night at Purcell Pavilion.
SENIOR SEASON (2009-10): Will serve as team captain for the Irish in 2009-10 along with teammates Luke Harangody and Tory Jackson ... one of the team's most improved players over the
course of the past two seasons ... veteran in the Irish lineup, he can come off the
bench and see time at point guard or as a shooting guard ... has played in 95 career
games, including two starts ... brings career averages of 2.9 points per game and 1.6
rebounds per game into his senior campaign ... has become comfortable playing in
the Irish system and has a great understanding of what is expected of him when he
comes off the bench ... tough defender along the perimeter ... has worked hard to
improve defensive skills ... an excellent passer who sees the court extremely well ...
has learned to play with a great deal of confidence and should emerge as a significant
contributor in his third season with the Irish.
JUNIOR SEASON (2008-09): Played in all 36 games, making two starts ... averaged 3.2 points per game and a career-best 2.3 rebounds per contest ... dished out a career-high 44 assists ... shared
the team's Most Improved Player Award with Tyrone Nash ... came off the bench in
the first 18 contests before earning his first career start against Marquette and subsequent
contest versus Pittsburgh ... had best outing of his career coming off the bench
against Providence as he scored a career-high 14 points, dished off a personal best
nine assists and grabbed three boards while playing a career-high 28 minutes ... was
5-8 from the field and 2-3 from three-point range against the Friars ... scored netted
a season-high eight points against Marquette ... made a career-high four assists
versus the Golden Eagles ... it marked the second double-figure scoring effort of his
career ... netted eight points in previous outing versus West Virginia as he connected

career-high 12 points in 11 minutes against Georgetown as he connected on 5-6
shots from the field and was 2-2 from three-point range in addition to grabbing four
rebounds ... scored seven points and matched career-high with five rebounds in
win over Marquette ... was a perfect 3-3 from the field in scoring seven points in 11
minutes against Syracuse ... dished off a career-high five assists in win at DePaul ...
played 15 minutes in season opener against Long Island as he netted five points and
grabbed three rebounds ... scored a season-high eight points against Monmouth
in 13 minutes as he connected on 3-4 shots from the field and was 2-2 from threepoint
range ... played a career-high 20 minutes against Baylor ... scored four points,
grabbed three rebounds and dished off a career-high four assists versus Colgate in
18 minutes ... also played 20 minutes in win over Northern Illinois and matched his
season-highs of eight points and four assists as he connected on 3-4 shots from the field

FRESHMAN SEASON (2006-07): Played 26 games during his rookie season and saw action in all 16 BIG EAST contests ... averaged 1.8 points and 0.8 rebounds ... has logged double-digit minutes in six games ... finished with a career-high nine points and matched a season best with three assists
in 19 minutes off the bench against Seton Hall ... played 14 minutes against Villanova
and had three steals ... netted seven points as he finished 2-2 from the field and 2-2 from the free-throw line in seven minutes of action off the bench versus Winston-Salem
St. ... played eight minutes against Army and scored three points ... scored five points
against Rider ... scored a basket in season opener against IPFW for first collegiate points
