  • The Fighting Irish are off to a 2-0 start in BIG EAST play for the first time since the 2007-08 season
  • This season's 14-1 start is the best 15-game record for Notre Dame under head coach Mike Brey (13 seasons)
  • This was the 13th meeting all-time between Notre Dame and Cincinnati ... the Irish lead the series 9-4, including a 6-3 edge as BIG EAST opponents ... tonight's victory snapped Notre Dame's three-game losing streak at Cincinnati
