• Notre Dame moved to 15-4 overall (12-2 at home) and 3-3 in BIG EAST play this season

• Tonight was the 29th meeting all-time between Notre Dame and Georgetown ... the Hoyas lead the series 16-13 ... the Fighting Irish are 8-6 at home against the Hoyas ... Notre Dame is 11-15 against Georgetown since joining the BIG EAST in 1995

• Notre Dame's 47 points were the fewest since a 59-41 loss at Georgetown last season (2/27/12) ... it was the lowest point total for the Irish in a BIG EAST home game and the fewest for the Irish in any home game since a 48-46 loss to Villanova on Jan. 19, 1982

• Georgetown held a 35-24 rebound advantage ... the Irish are 3-4 this season when being outrebounded

• Notre Dame trailed 34-21 at halftime ... the Irish are 1-3 this season when trailing at the intermission

• Notre Dame's 21 first-half points were the fewest in any half for the Irish since they tallied 19 in the opening half against Louisville during the semifinals of the 2012 BIG EAST Championship (3/9/12)

• The Fighting Irish had 11 assists on their 17 made field goals

• Notre Dame only had five turnovers ... it was the second time this season (first in BIG EAST play) the Irish had five or fewer turnovers in a game ... it marked the eighth time this season Notre Dame has had 10 or fewer turnovers in a game

Eric Atkins (Jr./G), Pat Connaughton (So./G), Jack Cooley (Sr./F), Jerian Grant (Jr./G) and Scott Martin (GS/ G) started tonight's contest ... the Irish are 13-4 this season with that starting lineup and 24-8 over the past two campaigns ... Atkins, Connaughton and Cooley have started all 19 games this season, while Grant and Martin have 18 starts each

• Notre Dame is 47-3 in its last 50 home games

• A three-pointer from Pat Connaughton in the first half upped Notre Dame's streak of consecutive games with a made three-pointer to 461

Pat Connaughton (So./G-F)
• Reached double-figures in points (12) for the second straight game and for the ninth time this season (18th time of career) • Was 2-for-3 from three-point range ... is 6-for-9 from distance in the last two games • Was 4-for-4 from the free throw line

Jack Cooley (Sr./F)
• Posted his team-best 12th double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds ... has 25 career double- doubles • Scored in double-figures for a team-best 18th time this season and for the 41st time in his career ... he has reached double-figures in points in 14 straight games, which is the longest such streak for a Notre Dame player since Ben Hansbrough netted double-figures in the final 17 games of the 2010-11 season

Jerian Grant (Jr./G)
• Scored a team-high 13 points ... it was his 15th double-digit effort of the season and the 41st of his career • Had his streak of 18 consecutive made free-throw attempts come to an end when he missed his first try of the game
