Coach Brey Post-Game Interview

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) -- Rob Kurz had 18 points and 10 rebounds and Colin Falls scored 13 as Notre Dame cruised to a 90-45 win over Winston-Salem on Wednesday night.

Four players scored in double figures for the Irish (5-1). Russell Carter and Kyle McAlarney each scored 10 as Notre Dame won its fourth straight game.

Notre Dame tuned up for back-to-back games against Top 25 teams by shooting 57 percent from the floor. The Irish travel to play No. 23 Maryland on Sunday and host No. 6 Alabama on Dec. 7.

Falls hit three 3-point shots and became the 45th player in Notre Dame history to score 1,000 points.

Winston-Salem (1-9) led 3-0 to start the game, but the Irish responded with 10 straight points and never trailed again.

Lowen Wray scored 12 points and Jamal Durham added 10 to lead the Rams, who played their sixth game in 13 days and are in their second year of a five-year transition to the Division I level from Division II.
