With its win over fourth-ranked Ohio State in the first round of the Preseason National Invitation Tournament (NIT), the Notre Dame men's basketball team will play host to a second round game against Siena College at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 18, in the Joyce Center. The Saints advanced with an 89-79 win over Davidson in the first round.
Tickets can be obtained by calling the Notre Dame ticket office at (219) 631-7356. The ticket office will open at 9:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday, Nov. 17. General admission tickets are $18 and $15 for lower arena seats, with bleacher seating available for $8. Notre Dame and St. Mary's students can purchase tickets for $4 with identification and also may purchase them at Notre Dame's North and South Dining Halls at lunch and dinner on Wednesday. Tickets also can be purchased 24 hours a day by calling Ticketmaster at (219) 272-7979.
The winner of the Notre Dame-Siena game will advance to the NIT semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 24 in New York, N.Y., in Madison Square Garden. The winner of the semifinal match will then advance to the final, which will take place on Friday, Nov. 26 also at Madison Square Garden.
