(On the game) "This was a great experience for my
last game. We wanted to go out in style this year. In years
past, the seniors were not able to go out in style. We never let
down today, because we did not want to lose. This was a great
incentive for us today to do what we did."

(On the week's preparation) "Preparation was easy
this week. We did not let the distractions bother us at all. We
knew we had a job to do and what we had to do to get it done."

(On his 1,000 yard record) "It feels good to have
accomplished this feat. Thanks to the offensive line for doing
the great job they have done all year. I could not have done
this without them. The defense has played great all year also,
and they gave me many chances to accomplish this goal."

physical than we thought. It's aggravating to get a surge and

where we started moving the ball, but they kept coming at us.
There was nothing we could do - we couldn't block them."
