CAREER: Most experienced fullback on Irish roster ... possibly the strongest player on the team ... enters his senior year having started nine of the last 14 games over the last two seasons ... played in 26 games in his Notre Dame career and made 10 starts ... gained 96 yards on 43 career carries and caught six passes for 49 yards ... he's one of nine returning starters to the offense and will compete with Luke Schmidt for the playing time at fullback ... ranked the eighth-best fullback in the country by Phil Steele for `08.

2007 (JUNIOR): Played in every game and started career-high seven contests ... started vs. Georgia Tech, Penn State, Michigan State, Purdue, UCLA, USC and Stanford ... served as first-team fullback in the other five games ... gained 14 yards on 12 carries for the season and caught three passes for 27 yards ... made first appearance for the Irish vs. Georgia Tech since injuring his knee vs. Penn State in September of 2006 ... started at fullback for the Irish in second game of the season vs. Penn State ... recorded his first catch of the season for five yards vs. Purdue ... had one rush for two yards vs. UCLA ... had two receptions for 22 yards vs. Boston College ... recorded one rush for four yards vs. Navy ... logged 113:58 of playing time with 67 special teams appearances.

2006 (SOPHOMORE): Started each of the first two games for the Irish before suffering a season-ending knee injury vs. Penn State ... rushed for 15 yards on four carries before the injury ... logged 20:51 of playing time and made five special teams appearances.

2005 (FRESHMAN): A steady contributor at fullback and on special teams in his freshman season ... played in all 12 games at fullback and on special teams ... notched his first career start for the Irish vs. USC ... rushed 27 times for 67 yards (2.5-yard average) and had three receptions for 22 yards on the season ... was a key blocking back for halfback Darius Walker, particularly in short-yardage situations ... caught one pass for one yard vs. USC ... rushed for 27 yards on eight carries vs. BYU ... rushed for 13 yards on three carries and caught two passes for 21 yards in the win over Navy ... rushed for 10 yards on two carries in the win over Stanford ... logged 111:35 of playing time with 32 special teams appearances.
