    CAREER: Fifth-year Irish offensive lineman who was approved for extra season of eligibility by Notre Dame Faculty Board on Athletics since he did not play in a game in 2002 or 2003 ... moved from defensive tackle to offensive line last spring ... one of the team's most active non-scholarship players the last two seasons ... played in five games over the span of the last two years ... previously wore number 93 as a defensive tackle.
