  • Played in all 13 games as the primary punt and kickoff returner as well as a reserve slot receiver
  • Returned 28 kickoffs for 640 yards (22.9 yards per return), including a 93-yard TD return at Stanford (Nov. 28)
  • Returned 25 punts for 182 yards (7.3 yards per return), including a 50-yard TD return vs. UMass (Sept. 26)
  • Recorded his only catch of the season against UMass (Sept. 26)
  • His 53 combined kick and punt returns ranked as the third-most in single-season school history 
  • His 822 combined kick and punt return yards ranked as the fifthmost in single-season school history
  • Registered 822 all-purpose yards, which ranked fourth on the team
  • One of nine FBS players and the only freshman with a kick and punt return for TD in 2015
  • Became the third player in Notre Dame history to return both a punt and a kickoff for a TD in the same season
  • Returned a punt 50 yards for a momentum-swinging TD late in the first half against UMass (Sept. 26) -- marked the first punt return for TD by an Irish freshman since 1973 and the first by a Notre Dame player of any class since 2009
  • Took over as the primary kickoff returner at Clemson (Oct. 3), gaining 71 yards on two returns for a 35.5 yard average
  • Registered 160 all-purpose yards with a 25-yard punt return and six kickoff returns for 135 yards against USC (Oct. 17)
  • Returned six kickoffs at Stanford (Nov. 28) for 182 yards, including a 93-yard TD, Notre Dame’s first kickoff return TD since 2011
  • The 182 kickoff return yards are third-best in Irish single-game history and the most since the 1989 where Raghib “Rocket” Ismail returned two kickoffs for TDs against Michigan (gaining 192 yards on the day)
  • The 182 kickoff return yards were the third-most by any FBS freshman in 2015
