    CAREER: Recruited to Notre Dame as offensive tackle but did not play as a freshman in 2008 and played sparingly as sophomore ... started spring 2010 as a defensive end but moved back to offensive line midway through spring ... played defensive end in high school and was a successful heavy- weight wrestler at McDonough School.

    2010 (JUNIOR): Saw action in nine games for the Irish... did not play against Michigan, Michigan State, Stanford or Boston College ... most of his playing time came on a variety of special teams units ... totaled 85 snaps on special teams.
