A fifth-year senior in his third season as the starting defensive tackle for the Irish in ?03 ? is a three-time monogram winner ? has played both end and tackle for Irish during his career, making 22 starts including all 13 games in ?02 ? team leader for the Irish serving as game captain against Michigan and Boston College in ?02 ? boasts excellent strength and size as he is an extremely imposing player ? plays with great effort ? is quick and with his tremendous work ethic is poised to have his best season yet ? is an all-star candidate ? pass-rush skills bode well for success in that area as he has recorded nine sacks in his career and 17 tackles for loss.
