Dr. Jennifer Malcolm, D.O., is in her second year at Notre Dame as the head football team physician.
Malcolm received her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in 2004 and is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in family medicine in 2011 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Malcolm completed her fellowship at South Bend-Notre Dame Sports Medicine in 2012.
Malcolm is board certified in family medicine and holds a certificate of added qualification in primary care sports medicine.
Malcolm is the Fellows' Matters Committee Chair for the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and a national member in the American College of Sports Medicine and American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine.
Malcolm is a native of West Chester, Pa., and is engaged to Major Timothy Carey, who is an orthopaedic surgeon in the U.S. Army.
