    2008 Notre Dame Football Media Day

    The Notre Dame football team kicked off the 2008 season with its annual Media Day activities on Friday, Aug. 8.

    CAREER: One of three captains for Notre Dame in `08, joining David Bruton and Maurice Crum Jr. ... veteran wide receiver who has been a key member of the offense each of the last two seasons ... possesses great hands and tremendous versatility as he has lined up in the slot as well as out wide in various formations ... recorded 55 career receptions for 579 yards with four touchdowns for the Irish, making him Notre Dame's active career leader in catches and receiving yards ... played in 34 games over the past three seasons and started 16 contests - only Sam Young has more career starts on the current Irish offense ... able to get on the field his first two years as a kick returner where he averaged 23.7 yards on 36 returns.
