CAREER: Has played in 25 games in his Notre Dame career and started 22 contests, including all 13 in 2010 ... totaled 108 career tackles, most of any Irish defensive lineman, including nine and a half tackles for loss and four and a half sacks ... added two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one pass breakup ... has two years of eligibility remaining ... paced the Irish defensive line in tackles in each of the last two seasons ... played both defensive end and tackle as sophomore but moved exclusively to defen- sive end in 2010 as the Irish switched to a 3-4 defense ... hard-working player has added approximately 70 pounds to his body since he arrived on campus.
