    Part of talented Notre Dame kicking game that ranked among best in the nation a year ago . . . capable of contributing as either kicker or punter, though he's most likely to assist with field goals, PATs or kickoffs, while working with Nick Setta . . . backup kicker in 2000 . . . versatile kicker who can handle anything from punting to placekicks to kickoffs.
