The University of Notre Dame football team began its spring workout schedule on Tuesday, March 29, running out onto Cartier Field at 4:30 p.m.

Surrounded by a throng of media members, the Irish went through their pre-practice routine and even ran a few offensive plays before the media's 20-minute window ended.

The Irish will practice several times over the next three weeks leading up to the tradtional final team scrimmage - the Blue and Gold Game - on April 23 in Notre Dame Stadium.
