Notre Dame, Ind. - University of Notre Dame video coordinator Tim Collins has been named the Independent Conference Video Coordinator of the Year by the Collegiate Sports Video Association. Collins is now one of 16 finalists for the National Video Coordinator of the Year Award announced later this summer.

Collins, in his 13th year as the video systems technician at Notre Dame, was elected by his peers and was recognized at the 2003 CSVA Conference held in Salt Lake City, Utah, in May.

A native of South Bend, Ind., this is the third time Collins has won Independent Coordinator of the Year honors, also pulling in the award in both 1997 and 1998. In 2001, he was elected secretary of the organization and in 2002 served as the treasurer.
