After the game, the participants hoisted former Irish quarterback Pat Steenberge - who created and organized the Football Fantasy Camp from day one - onto their shoulders to carry him off the field.

The Gold team put together a dominating performance, piling up 20 first-half points and not allowing Blue on the scoreboard until the game's final play.

The Gold team used a potent aerial attack to score 20 first-half points and would not look back en route to a 20-7 victory on July 1 in Notre Dame Stadium in the Blue-Gold flag game, the culmination of the Notre Dame Monogram Club's fourth annual Football Fantasy Camp.
