Notre Dame athletics director Jack Swarbrick:
"Over the past 12 years, the University of Notre Dame Athletics has been privileged to work with Pat Haden as an analyst for NBC Sports. While we will miss working with him in that capacity in the future, we congratulate Pat on becoming USC's next athletics director and welcome him back to one of the most storied rivalries in collegiate athletics.
