Today marked the end of the NCAA mandated five-day acclimatization period, allowing the University of Notre Dame Football Team to don full pads for their workout at the LaBar Practice Complex.
While most of the hitting is done when the und.com cameras leave the practice facility, we were able to grab some footage of the first aggressive hitting of the 2009 season. We also took a close look at the Irish players named to the various collegiate football award watch lists this preseason -
