The University of Notre Dame football team continued its preseason workout routine on Wednesday with a switch to Cartier Field. The traditional practice facility for the team, Cartier Field was once the former home field for the team before the construction of Notre Dame Stadium.
On the hallowed ground, the team entered its second phase of the preseason. Head coach Charlie Weis introduced the leadership committee for the year (the player representative to the coaching staff for each position group) and met with the media after practice for the first time in two days.
