The University of Notre Dame football team practiced in great weather once again on Wednesday, Aug. 23 - just 10 days away from the season opener at Georgia Tech on Sept. 2.

STATEMENT FROM Charlie Weis REGARDING RECENT IMPLIED ENDORSEMENT SITUATION:

Notre Dame Head Coach Charlie Weis:
³I appreciate the fact this was handled in an expeditious manner by the NCAA as well as our compliance and sports information departments. I¹m glad we have a resolution to this situation and I look forward to continuing our preparation for Georgia Tech.²
