COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF

14 Freshman S Devin Studstill (uniform number 14) is projected to make his first career start on Saturday. He was one of 13 players to make their collegiate debut for the Irish on Sunday night. (Page 7)

13 Only 13 teams have more than Notre Dame's 39 wins since 2012. (Page 9)

12 QB DeShone Kizer stands 12th in the nation with a 206.5 passing efficiency rating after the opening week of the season (Page 11)

11 The Irish routinely play a tough schedule and week one reflected that as 11 of Notre Dame's 12 opponents this year won their opener with the lone exception being USC. (Page 6)

10 The Irish have played six times previously on Sept. 10 and possess a 4-2 record with each of the last four Sept. 10 games coming against Michigan. (Page 5)

9 PK Justin Yoon scored nine points at Texas, eclipsing the 100 career point plateau in just his 14th appearance for the Irish. He now has 104 career points scored. (Page 13)

8 Head coach Brian Kelly begins his seventh year at Notre Dame. He won at least eight games in each of his first six seasons at the helm, the only Irish coach to accomplish that feat. (Page 2)

7 Notre Dame had seven players make their first career start on Sunday night at Texas, four on offense and three on defense. (Page 2)

6 WR Equanimeous St. Brown (number six) caught two TD passes at Texas. It is the sixth season-opener in a row where a Notre Dame has had a player score at least two TDs. (Page 10)

5 DeShone Kizer threw five TD passes at Texas, matching the school record for a road game. (Page 11)

4 Notre Dame's four captains for 2016 are WR Torii Hunter Jr., LT Mike McGlinchey, LB James Onuwalu and DL Isaac Rochell. (Page 8)

3 Three new buildings surrounding Notre Dame Stadium will greet Irish fans on Saturday. The Campus Crossroads Project is on schedule for completion in 2017. (Page 14)

2 This is the second all-time meeting with Nevada. The Irish lead the brief series, 1-0. (Page 5)

1 This is the first home game of the year at Notre Dame Stadium. The Irish are 68-16-2 in home openers at the facility. (Page 4)

0 Notre Dame has not had an empty seat for a home game since 1973. The sellout streak is the second-longest in NCAA history behind only Nebraska's active run of 348 games.
