TIME, DATE AND PLACE

  • 7:39 p.m. ET; Saturday, Oct. 15; Notre Dame Stadium (80,795); Notre Dame Ind.

TELEVISION

  • NBC national telecast with Dan Hicks (play-by-play), Doug Flutie (analysis), Kathryn Tappen (sideline), Rob Hyland (producer) and Pierre Moossa (director).

RADIO

  • IMG College Sports is the exclusive national rights-holder for Irish football radio broadcasts. Notre Dame games will be broadcast to 117 affiliates by Don Criqui (play-by-play) and Allen Pinkett (analysis). This broadcast can be heard live on SiriusXM Satellite Radio (channel 129).
  • The broadcast will be preceded by a one hour pre-game show hosted by Tony Castricone with interviews conducted by Jack Nolan. It will be followed by a national post-game show hosted by Castricone, Criqui and Pinkett.
  • All games can be heard in South Bend on WSBT 96.1 FM & 960 AM, and Sunny 101.5 FM.

TICKETS

  • Saturday will be the 253rd straight sellout at Notre Dame Stadium. Every Irish home game since the final two home dates in 1964 have been sold out except one - a 1973 Thanksgiving Day game vs. Air Force. Come Saturday, Notre Dame will have played before sellouts in 301 of its last 302 home games.
  • Notre Dame has played in front of sellout crowds in 291 of its previous 341 games (.853) overall. Notre Dame has played before 662 sellouts in 941 total games (.704) since 1930.
  • With the exception of the Syracuse game which drew 62,794 to MetLife Stadium (capacity 82,566) every Notre Dame game since the 2014 game at USC has attracted a sellout crowd, including a Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium record of 102,315 on Sept. 4.

  • Notre Dame leads the all-time series with Stanford, 19-11-0, including a 12-3-0 edge at Notre Dame.

THE COACHES

  • Notre Dame: Brian Kelly, 57-27 at ND (seventh year), 228-84-2 overall (26th year), 2-4 vs. Stanford.
  • Stanford: David Shaw, 36-9 at Stanford (sixth year), same overall (sixth year), 3-2 vs. Notre Dame.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR

  • The Irish and Cardinal are both looking to get back on track Saturday night in prime time.

COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF

  • 1,196 Junior QB DeShone Kizer threw for 1,196 yards over the Michigan State, Duke and Syracuse games, second-most in school history over any three-game stretch.
  • 471 Junior QB DeShone Kizer threw for 471 yards vs. Syracuse, the most ever by a Notre Dame quarterback in a victory.
  • 41 Notre Dame limited NC State to 41 passing yards -- fewest passing yards by a non-option Irish opponent since Sept. 16, 1995 vs. Vanderbilt (38).
  • 18 The Irish scored the first points of the game vs. Syracuse in just 18 seconds, the quickest score since a 12-second strike against Western Michigan in 2010.
  • 11 Notre Dame recorded a season-high 11 quarterback hurries vs. Syracuse, including a career-best four by senior DL Isaac Rochell.
  • 9 Sophomore PK Justin Yoon scored nine points at Texas, eclipsing the 100 career point plateau in just his 14th appearance for the Irish. He now has 135 career points scored.
  • 7 Notre Dame held an opponent on the road without an offensive TD for the first time since 2012 (at Boston College).
  • 7(x2) Notre Dame returned only seven starters from 2015, the fewest in program history since freshman eligibility was restored in 1972.
  • 6 Graduate DL Jarron Jones blocked his school record sixth career kick, a PAT, vs. Syracuse. Both of his blocked PATs this season have been returned for Irish points.
  • 5 Notre Dame scored five TDs of 50+ yards vs. Syracuse. Last season, the Irish set a school record with 15 such scoring plays.
  • 4 Notre Dame's four captains for 2016 are WR Torii Hunter Jr., LT Mike McGlinchey, LB James Onwualu and DL Isaac Rochell
  • 3 The Irish defense has held its last two opponents (vs. Syracuse, at NC State) to a combined 5-for-29 on third down.
  • 2 Sophomore WR C.J. Sanders, who has two career kickoff returns for TD, ranks 12th in the FBS with 456 kickoff-return yards.
  • 1 Sophomore WR Equanimeous St. Brown averaged 45.5 yards per catch vs. Syracuse (4-182). Only Michael Floyd (2009 vs. Nevada, 47.3, 4-189) has ever recorded a higher single-game average.
  • 0 Notre Dame has not had an empty seat for a home game since 1973. The sellout streak is the second-longest in NCAA history.
