The University of Notre Dame football team is off this weekend, enjoying its only scheduled bye week of the 2006 season. The Irish will return to campus on Tuesday - as the rest of the Notre Dame student body begins fall break. Practices have been moved up next week - and Fighting Irish All-Access will be there to cover all the preparations for the UCLA contest.
In the meantime, to provide a football fix over the weekend, the recent celebration of the 1966 national championship team at Notre Dame Stadium brought back the memories of the Ara Parseghian era. What better way to remember those years than a look at "The Era of Ara"....
