The University of Notre Dame football team continues its preparations for its ninth game of the season this weekend and its annual matchup with the Naval Academy.

The latest news from the Irish program includes Michael Floyd's return to the lineup this weekend, Dayne Crist going through ACL surgery this weekend and missing the next 4-6 months and John Goodman taking over emergency third quarterback duties for the Irish.
