Notre Dame - Connecticut Preview
Nov. 19, 2009
The University of Notre Dame football team will meet Connecticut on the gridiron for the first time in school history on Saturday. There is no doubt that it will be an emotional weekend for both teams. Notre Dame features 33 seniors and fifth-year seniors who could be playing their final game in Notre Dame Stadium. UConn features Zach Frazer as their starting quarterback, who was on Notre Dame's roster for the 2007 season. The Huskies also continue to recover from the loss of defensive back Jasper Howard in a fatal stabbing on the Connecticut campus in mid-October. Thursday is traditionally game preview day on und.com - and today we have plenty of content to get you ready for Saturday's matchup...
