Here's the game plan for Notre Dame's football squad the next few weeks:
Tomorrow (Dec. 6) is the last day of classes, then Notre Dame students have four study days.
Final exams are Monday, Dec. 11, through Friday, Dec. 15.
The Irish will have a light practice without pads on Friday evening, Dec. 15.
Then, the Irish will practice regularly through Dec. 22, with players free to head home for Christmas at noon on the 22nd.
Notre Dame coaches, administrators and families will take a charter flight to Phoenix on Christmas Day, tentatively leaving at 5:00 p.m. EST, arriving in Phoenix at 6:00 p.m. MST.
Players will fly to Phoenix from their hometowns, arriving in Phoenix for a team meeting the night of the 25th. Then, the Irish will begin practice on the 26th.
Team headquarters are at the Fairmont Princess in Scottsdale.
Notre Dame alumni headquarters are at the Phoenician in Scottsdale (200 rooms sold out in less than a day after the announcement of the matchup) and the Hyatt Regency Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale.
Media headquarters are at the Mission Palms in Tempe, with all formal press conferences for players and coaches of both teams scheduled there.
Notre Dame will practice at Pinnacle High School in Scottsdale.
