NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Senior Notre Dame tailback Autry Denson and senior offensive tackle Mike Rosenthal both have been named second-team All-Americans for 1998 by the Associated Press.

Rosenthal, who led the way for the Irish ground attack, previously earned first-team honors from the Walter Camp Foundation and second-team honors from Football News.

Denson, Notre Dame's leading career groundgainer, was a Football News honorable mention selection.

The two second-team selections were the highest Notre Dame picks on the AP squad since Aaron Taylor and Jeff Burris were first-team picks in 1993.
