Saw action in two tournaments in the fall turning in a 78.00 average in six rounds with just one round counting to team score ... started the fall as one of Notre Dame’s top five at the Wisconsin Invitational where he shot a 240 (83-81-76) ... did not play again until final fall tourney finishing 65th at the Legends of Indiana Intercollegiate with a 228 (77-77-74) ... started the fall with a sixth place tie at the Campus Championship ... closed with a pair of 70’s after opening the tourney with an 82-75 on the way to a 295 at the Warren Golf Course.

AS A JUNIOR:

Had a strong first season of competition appearing in nine tournaments ... had 15 of his 25 rounds count towards team scoring as he averaged a 77.26 for the season ... broke into the Irish starting five after posting a fifth-place finish at the fall of ’99 Campus Championship with a 304 (74-77-74-79, at South Bend’s Blackthorn Golf Club) ... averaged a respectable 75.73 with nine of his 11 rounds counting towards team scoring ... made an immediate impact by shooting an even-par 72 in the opening round of the Air Force Invitational on the way to a 54-hole total of 227 (72-75-80) ... helped Irish to their first tournament championship of the season while setting a 54-hole record with a four-over par team score of 868 ... had all three rounds count to team scoring as he tied for 54th at the Legends of Indiana tournament with a 229 (77-77-75) helping the Irish to tie for first ... tied for 44th at Xavier Invitational with a 225 (77-72-76) ...closed the fall with a 22nd place finish at the Louisville Intercollegiate where he had a 36-hole total of 152 (77-75) ... both rounds counted to Irish scoring as team recorded its third first-place finish of the season ... got off to a slow start in the spring as he fired a 241 (81-81-79) at the Treasure Coast Classic ... tied for 67th at the Kentucky Invitational with rounds of 79, 76 and 78 on the way to a 237 ... tied for 69th at the Marshall Invitational with a 233 (79-75-79) ... shot a 54-hole total of 237 (75-82-80) to finish 80th in a field of 100 at the Akron Intercollegiate ... closed out the season by playing in his first BIG EAST Championship ... finished 26th in the field of 45 recording rounds of 80 and 76 for a 36-hole total of 156 at the Warren Golf Course.

AS A FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORE:

Did not compete in any intercollegiate events during his first two season, while serving as a practicing member of the Notre Dame varsity squad ... posted a 339 at the 1997 fall Campus Championship, held at South Bend’s Blackthorn Golf Club (167-85-87), before placing 14th at the 1998 event, with a 318 total (78-86-77-77).
