SUMMER 2003: Claimed his first title at the South Bend Metro Championship with a five-stroke victory over former champion Roger Schmeltz.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Competed in three tournaments, including two in the spring, with five of his six rounds counting towards the team score ... placed 59th at the season-ending Bruce Fossum/TaylorMade Classic ... fired a 17-over par 233 (80-77-76), with his final-round 76 standing matching his best of the season ... also played in one fall tournament -- the season-opening Inverness Intercollegiate Invitational where he tied for 45th with freshman Scott Gustafson in a field of 75 ... shot an 18-over par 231 (78-76-77) ... had a 77.0 average for the fall with all three rounds played counting to team scoring.
