NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Notre Dame's men's golf team finds itself within striking distance of both team and individual titles entering Tuesday's final round of the Fighting Irish Gridiron Golf Classic at the Warren Golf Course.
The Irish stand tied with Illinois State for second place in the team standings with a 568 (+8) after 36 holes, trailing only UTEP which is pacing the 15-team field at 560 (Even). The three teams will be grouped in the final pairings on Tuesday with tee times for the trio starting at 10 a.m.
The course is playing as a 6,713-yard par-70 for the three-round event.
Player of the Day
Blake Barens continues to lead the field as an individual, shooting a three-under-par 67 on Monday to join his first-round 66 for a two-round sum of 133 (-7).
