Men's Golf Finishes Second At BIG EAST Championship

Freshman Mark Baldwin took all-BIG EAST honors with his sixth place finish in his first BIG EAST Championship.

Senior Brandon Lunke took all-BIG EAST honors as he tied for fourth with a 12-over par 222 at the BIG EAST Championship.

Freshman Tommy Balderston tees off in Monday's opening round of the BIG EAST Championship at Notre Dame's Warren Golf Course.

Freshman Eric Deutsch tied for 11th at the BIG EAST Championship after shooting rounds of 75, 76 and 79 for a 230 total.

One of four freshman golfers for Notre Dame, Scott Gustafson tied for second in his first BIG EAST Championship with an 11-over par 221.

Scott Gustafson took all-BIG EAST honors while helping Notre Dame to its second consecutive second-place finish at the BIG EAST Championship.

Freshman Tommy Balderston was one of four Irish golfers to be named all-BIG EAST at the 2003 BIG EAST Championship.

Mark Baldwin had three consistent rounds for his BIG EAST Championship. The freshmen shot a 224 (75-74-75) for 54 holes.
